FAQs
-
An mRNA construct encoding targets identified from one patient's own tumor. Unlike vaccines directed at a shared antigen, each construct is designed and manufactured for a single individual based on that person's sequencing data.
-
No. Individualized mRNA cancer vaccines are investigational. No such product has received FDA approval; Phase 3 programs from Moderna, Merck, and BioNTech are ongoing. Echo's constructs have been administered under FDA-accepted pathways at academic medical centers, with sponsor-investigator oversight and IRB approval.
-
mRNA and lipid nanoparticle delivery have established clinical safety records across multiple indications. In published trials of individualized cancer vaccines, reported adverse events have been predominantly low-grade and transient.
These findings are based on published studies of other investigational products and do not constitute a safety claim about Echo's constructs, which remain under evaluation.
-
Yes. Echo dosed its first patient in June 2026, under a single-patient IND with sponsor-investigator oversight at an academic medical center. Antigen-specific T-cell responses to selected epitopes are being measured as part of immune monitoring. Immunogenicity is a pharmacodynamic finding and is not evidence of clinical benefit.

WORKING WITH PATIENTS
Echo Immune brings together a multidisciplinary team that handles everything from advanced genetic sequencing to monitoring and reporting results, supporting patient care from start to finish.
PHASE 1
Genetic Data Discovery
Our clinical team helps track down and process patients’ tumor tissue. It ensures patients have full genome and RNA sequencing to identify the tumor‑specific changes that guide their personalized mRNA vaccine.
PHASE 2
Uncover Patient Immune Targets
Our genomic experts analyze patient sequencing data with AI models to identify the vaccine epitopes, which are the parts of each tumor‑specific target that the immune system can learn to recognize through their personalized mRNA vaccine.
PHASE 3
Manufacture Patient Vaccine
Our team handles FDA requirements for patient vaccines. A GMP‑certified lab produces, vials, and releases it. We coordinate with a participating clinic in their region to keep treatment timing aligned.
PHASE 4
Vaccine Administration & Monitoring
Start Patient Treatment
Patient’s treating physician administers their vaccine doses at the closest coordinated clinic. The patient starts building immunity with the first dose, and over six months, their immune system learns to recognize the selected epitopes.
Personalized Immune Monitoring
We track patient immune response to tumor targets with an assay tailored to your biology. Our team collects safety data during treatment and works with their care team to support a personalized medicine approach with regulatory oversight.
